Recommended Books
Reading is one of my favorite pastimes. A hot cup of coffee, soft music playing at the background, and a nice book to read (no.. not the engg or course books.. u idiot) - is what I cherish most. I started reading novels when I was in final year of my Engineering course. And, since then I’m addicted to them
Some of the best books I have read which I would like to recommend it to you all are:
- The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien
- Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand
- To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee
- Ulysses by James Joyce
- As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner
- The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
- The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
- Inscrutable American by Anurag Mathur
- Wings of Fire by Abdul Kalam
- Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat
- Monk who sold his Ferrari
- Digital Fortress by Dan Brown
I will try to keep this list updated. Keep checking this post
Blog Update
- Added Aaina & Ankur to the ‘Blogs I Read‘ list
- Planning to work on the layout of the blog. This one is so dull and boring. Anybody willing to do this for me? Puhleeeez!
Edit
- Added Digital Fortress by Dan Brown to the list

Nice list. But, you missed out ‘Gone with the Wind’. It is a very nice book. A must read.
Currently I’m reading ‘Love story’ by Erich seagal. I know you don’t read such novels, but still give it a try. It’s a nice book.

Whatver changes you require to be made in blog, I think Poonam can guide you well but as she is missing… so you will have to wait till mid-Jan
Ankur Raheja / December 29th, 2004, 6:39 pm / #
Yeah, Poonam can help out, specially in installing various plugins etc. But, for that I need to wait for atleast 20 days I guess.

great list! highly recommend the following for further enrichment… the pearl (john steinbeck); wuthering heights (Emily Bronte); the good earth (pearl buck)…youl’ll like these the way u loved “to kill a mockingbird”. then maybe u can read some of the vampire chronicles by anne rice (or her other pieces like “the mummy”..etc.), or erich seagal (love story, doctors, the class, the nobel, acts of faith), some sidney, all of dan brown’s, all of grishams….and more and more classics. also try “love in time of cholera” by gabrielle garcia marquez. i’ll b visiting for ur updates
