Aaj ki Faltu Khaber

I miss my nephew a lot. And I know, he misses me as well :) These days, he has become very naughty. Just the other day, he took the keys of my sister’s almirah, and threw them in the wastes basket and then forgot about it. It took my sister 2 hours to find the key. This 1-yr old brat surely knows how to trouble his parents! ;) BTW, Got some of his latest pictures by mail today. Will upload them to the gallery.

Jalebi & Rabri
Yesterday, went to Manmeet, a nice chat corner on FC Road. Had awesome jalebi… Dilli ki yaad dila di. On a cold winter evening, a bite of hot jalebi with rabri…is WoW!! Ummm…!! I really miss Delhi for its food. Don’t know when I will be able to shift back to North India. I miss that place. :(

I was Lost!
Saw ‘Lost in Translation’ yesterday. To say that I was not able to translate what the director wanted to say will be an understatement. A boring movie. Definitely not worth spending your money on.

Hello Manpreet…I came to your blog through Poonam’s blog.
Hey, I am from N. India as well…i can undestand why u miss that place so much. I am originally from there, but settled in States…(how boring:)
Anyways…Lost in Translation is a very slow movie. I didn’t like it the first time, but then I had to watch it again with a friend (huh! can u believe that?)…and I kinda liked it…
What can we say…it won quite a few Oscars!!!

[Mannat] Oh, you too from the best part of India.. great! Which city? Yup, lost in translation is very slow movie. Didn’t liked it all. Barely 10 mins into the movie, we guys were planning to walk out of the cinema hall! LOL.

Wondering why did this movie won awards? :?

Priya / February 21st, 2005, 9:40 pm / #

ohh my gosh … he is soooooooooo cuteeeeeeee :) I know you miss him so much … and I don’t think we are able to do something even he does a lot of naughty things … he is really cute :)

I haven’t watched Lost in Translation, I don’t think I want to watch that movie … seems like it’s a heavy movie. I hardly watched Oscar movies unless I think it’s good ….

This year oscar movies that I have watched, The aviator and Closer. The Aviator is really brilliant movie, should watch it in the cinema. You will get bored maybe if you watched at home …. Closer is kinda weird movie but interesting. I really want to watch Ray, I like Jazz music :)

[Chetan] Haha :)

[Mannat] O tusi chandigar ton ho!! Wah!!

[Priya] Nopes… I don’t have any brother with name ‘Gurpreet’. Kyon kya hua?

[Mona] Yeah… most of the oscar winning movies are boring… Lost in Translation is no exception. Haven’t seen Aviator & Closer yet… so, can’t comment on them..

This weekend planning to go for Constantine. Heard that the movie is good!
