Wow!!

Not many people know that during my grad days, I used to work as a freelance graphic designer & web developer. It was a fun to earn some real good pocket money while I was still in college.

About 3-4 years ago, I had done a logo & brochure design for a small US based pharma company. Somehow, I lost touch with those guys, as they shifted to another place. And, as a result, I didn’t got anything for my efforts :( I thought that they had cheated me. But, since they were in US, and I was in India, I couldn’t do much other then sending them reminders. After some time, I forgot about the issue.

But, to my surprize, yesterday I got a letter from their side. And, along with that letter they had sent me the pay order as well. Wow!! And, what more, those guys even paid me $150 extra for this long delay. I had completely forgotten about it long back, but thanks to these folks, now I’m richer by few hundred dollars :)

Even in today’s world, there are people who are honest, are fair in their dealings and have good values. We need more people like these :)

I know that this will sound weird… and it really is a weird generalisation, but I feel that the average American is much more honest than the average Indian.

Rash, aisa kya… are americans more honest then indians? But, I dare to differ. Actually, the system over there is much more transparent. Therefore, those folks don’t have much choice. They have to be honest.

Poonam, batao business class ki ticket chahiye, ya economy class se kaam chal jayega? ;) Aur, meri gf dande nahin maaregi… itna to vishvas has usko mere upar :) but, if she starts reading my blog regularly, then it can be another story :lol:
