Life!
Finally, after several days of effort, the Finance Club in my college has come out with inagural issue of its magazine - FinSight. As always, everything has been done by the students - from conceptualization to the final release.
This time I took the task of designing the layout of this Finance Club magazine. Have a peek:
Needless to say, the quality of content of the magazine is very good - it shows the kind of effort which have been put in the magazine. Kudos to them!
BTW, I must say that people here are really very, very talented. I’m always amazed by sincerity & hardwork these guys put into any kind of work they do.
Never before in my life, I’ve seen so many exceptionally able people at the same place. Somebody is good in music, somebody is an excellent photographer, somebody is an exceptional orator, somebody writes really nice poems… the list is literally endless! To be among these fellows, and being in the same batch, is definitely a good experience. You get to know so many new things, make so many new friends, and above all enjoy every moment! It’s awesome!
Sometimes, I do feel that I’m a totally mis-fit here. I find myself that I’m nowhere near these guys - I’m lazy. Very lazy infact. I don’t participate in most of the activities. I’m getting average grades - nothing exceptional.
I need to learn from these folks. This is the time, I can really do something which I like to do. No job pressures, no family issues, nothing! I don’t think, that I will ever get a better time than this in my life to live it my very own way! Right? Acads have never been a priority for me, and I don’t think they ever will be. I just want to enjoy my life, live every moment, and do things the way I will like to do.

oh bachcha… all is cool. AS long as you are celebrating life. But as you yourself said… the time you have rigth now is really right as you have no other tensions and worries apart from the next assignment and test… so go out and live life… get wild… do all the wrong things you’ve always wanted to do… to all the right things that you’ve always wanted to do… just live it, coz as they say we just get this one life to do everything we want to

arree..you are talented too Manpreet.
IIT is definitely filled with very talented people..and sometimes you can get lost…but definitely take advantage of this great opportunity to learn many new things and even new talents that you never knew that you had before.

I guess talent is not about doing extraordinary things, but doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.. and if this makes me wise
well i am hereby declaring myself talented..
But seriously, the layouts are great, and being a passionate graphic designer myself, i beleive that unless the information is presented in a good format, the information dosent quite have the impact.. its all about the pacakge ..

Poonam, I tested it in IE, Mozilla and Opera… I am not getting any problem. If anybody else having the same issue, please reply!
