Synopsis of past 3 weeks

The past 3 weeks have been very busy and tiring. So much is happening. So much is going on, that I’ve really not been able to find any idle time.

1) Systems Continuum 2006: Every year our college organizes a seminar series on Systems Management in the month of Jan/Feb. Lot of eminent speakers from the industry give out gyan to the junta. For this years continuum which took place on 4th/5th Feb, I had to design all the posters/banners for the event. Took a hell of my time. But anyways, the effort was worth it, as almost everybody appreciated my work :)

2) Then, our would-be juniors will be joining us soon. So, being the part of the Admissions Committee, I along with other members of the team, had to plan and make arrangements to ensure that the whole admission process goes on smoothly. Here too, I was entrusted with the responsibility of designing - but this time it was the admission brochure. LOL! Sometimes I think I should become a full-time designer, rather than study management. It may get me more money and fame :P

3) Add to the above, we have to submit 5 projects this term. One for each subject. :(

4) And, yeah how can I forget about regular classes, quizzes and mid-terms which are just adding more to the pressure. $@##, I hate to study :(

5) And, if that this wasn’t enough, we have an awesome climax in making - the end-term examinations are starting this Saturday, and will go on till 23rd (next thursday). Gawd, kya hoga mera? :(

No wonder, I call myself lucky when I’m able to sleep more than 4-5 hours these days. Now I know, why people call MBA experience as hell.

I too did a one year full MBA for work experienced people and found it pretty exciting. The real hell or heaven begins when you start to work because they you realize how good or bad you are when you actually attempt the practical stuff. Heaven help you if you are in the wrong profession.
