Past couple of weeks
In about less than a month, I will be completing 1st year of my management degree program. Whew!! Maybe then (if I manage to pass all my courses), I will be eligible to be called HALF-MBA. LOL!
Meanwhile, last couple of weeks have been extremely busy due to:
- Lots and lots of classes. On some days, we even have classes from 8.30 in the morning to 8.30 in the evening (ofcourse, we get about 2-3 hrs off for lunch/snacks etc).
- And, then there are so many quizzes, assignments and projects, all constantly hanging like a knife on your neck, with just inches away to cut it off. Phew… life gets so boring at times
Between all this, our batch gave farewell to the senior batch (batch of 2006) last weekend. And man, must say that it was awesome fun. For a change, we juniors ragged seniors that day. LOL. 
Phir kab mauka milta? 
Now, I’m just waiting for the day when I’ll also graduate from here. It’s kinda strange. When I was working, I always kept on yearning to go back to college, and have fun. But, now when I have managed to get into a college, the only thought in my mind is, when will I go back to my work life. LOL. Just a human tendency to remain unsatisfied always I guess - life always looks greener on the other side!
Anyways, while I’m still stuck in my student role, my two & a half year old nephew Gurjyot has started going to a School - a prepatory school actually. Mama jail se nikla nahin, aur bhanja bhi pahunch gaya. LOL
Poor dude has attended school for only about 3 days till now, and on all 3 days, he went crying & came back crying as well.
Today morning I called him up:
Me: Gurjyot, uth gaya?
He: Hoon (He has a habit of replying by just saying ‘Hoon’… no ‘yes’.. no ‘haan’.. just a cute little ‘hoon’)
Me: School ja raha hai phir?
He: No No
Me: School ko No kyon?
He: Schooo No No.
Me: Arre.. No No kyon?
He: Mamu.. schoo no no.
Me: School jayega.. to mamu will give you a BIG chocolate
He: Choocolit
(Expectedly, by just listening to the word ‘chocolate’, his mood changed instantly. LOL.)
He: Mamu.. gurjt Choocolit
(Aur koi word poora bole na bole, but when it comes to chocolate, he speaks it very clearly. Hehe)
Me: Haan. Gurjyot will get a BIG BIG chocolate if he goes to school. Aur bilkul rona nahin hai.
He: Choocolit
(By now, choocolit word has taken all the little space in his mind… nothing else mattered)
Me: Choocolit milegi. But, pehle school.
And, see the effect of choocolit: On the bare mentioning of the word, he went to school and came back home in a good mood, for the first time. Hats off to the person who discovered this amazing thing. LOL!

Very cute abt. Gurjyot. Bacchon ko toh chocolate ke aage kuch pata nahi hota…lagta hai Mamu par gaya hai.

sahi hai…when you work you yearn to go to college and when you are actually back you want to go back! HOW TRUE! and KYA?!?! us dentistry ppl are taught to never reward children with chocolate! kya yaar bechaare ladke ke daant bigad jaayenge…choocolit ki rishvat mat diya karo!!!
