TravelGuru.com sucks!
Oops!
Looks like there is some problem with my host again. I had posted couple of enteries in last 2-3 days. And, I can’t see them now.
Anyways, I’ve re-posted the Pictorial Ooty Trip post. Check it out!
————————————————————————————–

Almost a week back, I had booked THREE tickets on Air Sahara for Bangalore to Delhi through TravelGuru.
But, the problem is that I just recieved ONE ticket. Yes, just one ticket instead of three I had ordered for. And, that too on Jet Airways not on Air Sahara. WTF? Kya ho raha hai yeh!
So, I called them up today morning, and told them about this issue. The lady on the other side told me that all three tickets have been dispatched, and asked me to check up with the courier guys. What the hell man? It’s not my headache that I should call each and every person in the chain who is involved in booking/delivery of tickets. I have given money, and in return I should get the service. They should enquire about the tickets from their courier company. Why should I?
Anyways, I called up overnite express, the courier company, gave them the POD no. of the dispatched packet. They told me that they have delivered all the tickets. Damn!!
And add to this, not a single transaction has taken place from TravelGuru on my credit card. But, my credit limit has been reduced by exactly the same amount as the price of the tickets.
I really don’t know what to do. The chics at TravelGuru’s call center seem to be helpless.
I guess, I should go to their office at KH Road, Bangalore and talk to them F2F. Bangalore guys, any idea where is this place, and how to reach there from JP Nagar?
TKN Mansion,
KH Road (double road),
Bangalore.

Hey, what happened finally? Did travelguru refund the ticket amount or what?
I booked an Indian Airlines ticket a few days ago but didnt recieve the ticket and the airlines wouldn’t issue a boarding card on the basis of travelguru’s email. So I had to pay another 2000 bucks for the flight.
I called up travelguru about it and they say the tickets have been delivered!! I’ve asked to see a copy of the delivery form with the signature and they are giving me the run around.

I have booked two tickets from travelguru and cancelled them later. Even after two months time they have not refunded my money…They have several stupid reasons though. They are big cheats.

Hi, I am also a victim of Travelguru.com, I had booked a ticket from Mumbai to Delhi through Travelguru for Kingfisher Airlines, but when I reached at airport Kingfisher guys told me that your ticket is cancelled because of non payment from travelguru, although my credit card was debited for the same ticket. Please tell me what should I do for that.

Hi Manpreet,
I too have a similar story after purchasing an ineternationl ticket from travelguru.com. They have not refunded my cancelled ticket money for more than 3 months. I am filling up a consumer court complaint form against travelguru.com. I have travelguru’s Mumbai address. Since i live in Bangalore i need complete address of their Bangalore office in K.H road. Would help me by sending the complete address of travelguru’s Bangalore office?
Many Thanks- Mahesh

Not sure if it’s really the problem with travelguru or their courier (overnite express) or both. I booked railway tickets on irctc and overnite guys are supposed to deliver them. However, they just keep forgetting to send my tickets and incidentally they are supposed to deliver them at K H Road. Strange, but it could be a problem with K H road as well
