TravelGuru Update

As I had blogged before, I had booked my tickets trhough TravelGuru a few days back, and had run into some problems with the dispatch of those tickets.

Therefore, I had sent emails to thier support guys to get the issue resolved as soon as possible. Moreover, blogged about it in detail over here as well.

Today afternoon, I got phone calls from Mr. Deepak, a senior fellow of thier Logistics Department, and Ms. Devyani, Chief Marketing Officer of TravelGuru. Both of them sounded quite concerned about the goofup made by them, and were apologetic about the whole issue.

I really appreciate the concern showed by them. It proves that they do care for their customers. Not many companies go that far.

Maybe it was just a one-off case. After all they are also human.

Therefore, I’m removing that post from my blog.

sahi hai…now that is what a good customer service is called. Blunders happen everywhere. The good thing is when companies atleast realize that they made a mistake and get back with you. I am impressed. Seriouly, I would have never imagined that companies like this exist in India. But then mera bhaarat mahaan truly has a blend of all kind of people.
