Football, cricket - Hai Rabba!
Yes, I know I’m blogging after a long time. Was just plain lazy to post over here.
Anyways, last one month went like a breeze. I finished my internship in Bangalore (somehow), and now I’m in Delhi for my vacations. From a city where temperature hovered around 20-25 degree mark, I’m now hopped into a earthen oven which is steaming at 35-40 degrees, and add to this high humidity levels. Phew!
And, for the last 4-5 days, I’m just glued to the television box, shuffling between football, cricket & tennis. Thanks to the ‘awesome’ pitch, India managed to pull off a series win in the Carribean after 35 years. Whoa! Last time India won over there, Kumble was just 6 month old. Pitch may have taken some sheen out of the India win, but in my opinion, India was deserving winners. They played better cricket then the West Indies throughout the series. Had there been no rain during the 2nd test match, scoreline would have read 2-0.
BTW, with the south american giants - Argentina & Brazil knocked out of the WC in the quarter final stage itself, the tournament is as good as over for me. Brazil played poorly against France - they did no justice to the talent they have at their disposal. Whereas, Argentina was plain unlucky. To be knocked off the WC due to penalities is so painful. All those preperations goes down the drain in just few minutes.
Anwyays, I’m betting on Germany & France final, with Germany going all the way. What do you say?

I am a fan of Italian team … honestly, I thought that Germany will go to the final and Italian team will lose. But miracle happened !!! Yeyyyyy Italian team goes to the final, yeyyyyy I am really happy
If Portugal wins over France, that will be more interesting
