Omkara - Definitely a worth watch!
Just came back after watching Omkara at Adlabs. This is certainly one of the better movies bollywood has produced in last few months atleast.
The story is based on Shakespeare’s Othello. Vishal Bhardwaj has done a amicable job in turning a classic novel into a mainstream bollywood product. The movie is dark, gloomy & rusty but sill facinating. Ajay Devgan, Konkana Sen, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu & Vivek Oberoi - all have done full justice to the excellent script, but its Saif Khan as Langda Tyagi who has stolen the show. As an actor, he has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few years, and is now one of the most talented person in the industry today.
The dialogue is mostly in mixture of Haryanvi & Bhojpuri - something which is spoken in the states of UP & Haryana. Lots of expletives have been thrown in. So, definitely do not watch this movie along with kids or parents.
Overall, a must watch.

the songs are already a hit. Beedi and Omkara are good songs. Good to hear that you liked the movie — will definitely checking out that and Golmaal, another movie that I heard that was good.
