Fart-giri

Taking a leaf out of the movie ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’, I’ve also coined a new term - ‘Fartgiri’.

So, what is it? You must have heard about dadagiri, bhaigiri, and even gandhigiri. But, what the heck does fartgiri means?

Ah.. I’ll explain it to you. Fartgiri is what every MBA student around the globe does. Basically, it can be defined as “a structured way to position yourself in the upper segments of grade value chain”. =)

In simple words, fartgiri is simply bullshitting in the class/exams. It doesn’t requires a Einstein’s brain, to master this skill. All you need is an ability to use any of these words in a random way to answer a question:
synergy, value chain, positioning, segmentation, strategy, vision, decision making, leverage, cost/benefit analysis, brainstorming, swot, consolidation, diversification, downsize, upsize, paradigm shift, proactive, perspective, emerging market, business process etc etc

For eg.
Facilitation of business process improvement is an essential enabling component of strategic decision-making oriented to market growth vectors. =)

Moreover, in couple of days time, I will be getting an oppurtunity to hone my skills further, and become an expert in this field. Coz, the exams are starting this Monday =(
